Welcome to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church of Lula, Georgia

Pastor James Duncan and Sandra DuncanThank you for this visit to our website. As the Pastor of Mt. Carmel, it is my privilege to share a little information with you about our church and to extend an open invitation for you to attend any of our services whenever possible. We are a Southern Baptist Church and a member and a supporter of the Georgia Baptist Convention. I believe there are four things that define and describe Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

We are a Bible teaching and believing church
God’s word has the preeminence in our lives and services. Expository teaching and preaching is the foundation upon which we build our services and our church.

We are a friendly church
The first thing you can expect when you enter the doors of Mt. Carmel is a warm and friendly welcome. Our goal is to make you feel right at home with us.

We are a singing church
Mt. Carmel has a long history of spirit filled, gospel singing. We love it! From the choir to the congregation, you will feel the joy as we lift our voices in praise to our King.

We are a generous church
God has given Mt. Carmel a tender heart for the needs of others and for the commission of the gospel. As Pastor, I am touched over and over at the willingness of our people to give of themselves through service, missions and community outreach.

Our mission
The Mission of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church is to bring others to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and to teach them how to  walk with God.

Welcome to our services

We extend a special welcome to our visitors. Thank you for  fellowshipping with us, as we worship our Lord Jesus Christ.  We are delighted you have chosen to visit our church. May God make this day special for you. The Nursery is available at the entrance of our church. It would be our joy to have you and your family visit Mt. Carmel. May the grace of our Lord be with you.

Sincerely,
Pastor James Duncan

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. Colossians 1 vs.27& 28
